Starting July 26th, Wayne will be touring the Federal riding - visiting local businesses, meeting with market goers, and hosting meet and greet events to share the hard work the New Democratic MPs have been doing. He'll answer questions and share how he plans to join their efforts if Kootenay Columbia chooses to elect him as our Member of Parliament.

Nobody should have to choose between going into work sick or not being able to pay their bills. During this past year while dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic, New Democrats fought for and won Canada’s first federal sick leave benefit, but the Liberal program left too many people unprotected. New Democrats will continue to strive to ensure that all Canadian workers have access to 10 paid sick days, no matter what kind of job they have.
